Where Have You Been?

I'm as amazed as anyone that two weeks have gone by since I last posted. How in the world did that happen? Thankyou so much to those of you who wrote and asked how I was doing. God has been so good to me and to my family. There are of course easier days and harder days, but the harder days are less often and they're becoming more moments than days.
We've been so very busy here in the last few weeks.

What have we been doing?

... sewing lots of Easter dresses

...cleaning up the yard and preparing the earth for planting the seedlings we started indoors

... building the coolest swingset ever!

...the boys were such a huge help to their Dad in getting it put together

... getting Savannah's stone set by her grave. Mr. Bookmeier did such a beautiful job on it!
and recording songs...
(I can't promise any of them are the final final version, but they're getting closer.)

  2. Thank you Heidi for posting this, and thank you for the lovely comment. I am glad to see your family building and playing. Isn't spring great! It is really like spring in my heart too with new growth and freshness. I too think that Jesus felt every emotion every doubt every anxious thought that we feel. I think that is why GOD came down as a child, so that we could never say, you just don't know how it is. Throughout history, the psalms and prayers of a thousand or more must have said," GOD YOU don't know what it's like to.....(insert feel sick, well Jesus fasted for 40 days/ lose a friend, well Jesus lost Lazarus/ to suffer, well Jesus was lashed beyond recognition, wore a crown of thorns that pierced his skull, and was mocked all his adult life/ and like me I said YOU GOD don't know what it's like to lose a child, well Jesus died. GOD's only begotten son died. So Jesus, and through HIS ONENESS with GOD, GOD HIMSELF felt and knew all things that man can suffer in the first person. Maybe HE did not sin because HE had divine power to change things in all His sorrows yet HE didn't. HE always ended with YOUR will be done and pleas to Almighty Father to forgive and have mercy on us. Maybe?! I hope that you continue to feel GOD close and lots of hugs from above as well as from my family to yours....
