Enchanted Tea Party

There is an enchanted garden in our house. It isn't usually there.
But once in a great while, when you least expect it,
the "fairies" magically make the garden appear
just for a little while
and then just as magically, it's gone. :)

It is only there when the "fairy heart" is on the door
and even then, you dare not go in without an invitation,
or they will make it disappear again and maybe not come back for a long time. :)

going up the magical mountain where the roses grow upside-down ;)

the fairy heart is on the door! and we have our invitations!

surprise!

flowers all around and a tea party laid out for us!
The girls are so excited!

biscuits and jam for lunch - yum!
(ok, so it's not that healthy, but after all, it's not every day you're invited to a fairy tea party!)

prettiest dresses and best behaviour. :) And peanut butter cookies for dessert.
It was a lovely party. Thankyou, fairies, for inviting us.
Then, time for nap.
And the enchanted garden has disappeared again.
Until next time...

  1. heidi, thank you for sharing your life and your beautiful baby's story. we are in the process of miscarrying our second baby. i read savannah rose's story last night, and today i had the ultrasound which told us our little one is most likely already in heaven. i had such a peace reading savannah's story. your gentle spirit truly helped me get through the day and i'm sure it will help me in the days to come. much love and hugs

  2. Heidi i want you to know that your grace and kind ways, your amazing family and strong faith are such an inspiration to me. Everything is so knew for a young woman shaped and trained and rised with the 'world' ideas, but never ever life seemed so full and happy and bright as it is now. God bless you !

  4. Oh I always love a fairy tea. We have them quite often around our cottage and woods. : ) Fancy dresses, brushed tresses (of course), lots of jam, and smiles galore -- the perfect recipe for sweetness and light. My eyes sparkle while peeking through into your joyful moment. I am blessed.
